180wearuk began in 2022 with a clear mission — to support and represent young riders in the scootering scene. What started as a small movement quickly grew into something much bigger than we ever imagined. At the heart of it all is our son, Liam — the original inspiration behind 180wearuk. His passion for scootering sparked an idea that turned into a brand, and his love for the sport continues to drive everything we do.

We’re a family-run business, built from the ground up with one goal in mind: to create something real for the next generation of riders. From day one, it wasn’t just about selling clothes — it was about building a community. A place where riders could feel seen, supported, and proud to rep something that truly represents them.

Liam helped spread the word by travelling to skateparks around the UK, meeting other riders, handing out merch, filming content, and repping 180wearuk at every stop. Each session, each connection helped grow our community — one park at a time

Instead of using the word “ambassadors,” we created Team Riders— a title that actually means something. “Team Riders” just sounds better — more raw, more real. These aren’t just people promoting our gear; they live it. They’re part of the crew. They are 180wearuk.

In late 2024, Liam suffered a serious injury that took him off his deck for almost a year. Suddenly, our excitement and momentum had to take a back seat. Our family came first, and while we paused, the market didn’t—which meant others swooped in with products and energy.

THE ORIGIN OF OUR NEW LOGO

"The Origin of Our New Logo" – Inspired by Rust and Realness

While clearing the garden one afternoon, we stumbled upon something unexpected — rusty circular imprints left behind by old metal weights resting on concrete. Over time, rain and weather had etched perfect rings into the surface, forming a natural and gritty number 8, almost like nature was sketching for us.

That accidental mark — raw, imperfect, and real — sparked the idea for our new logo. We photographed it, enhanced the contrast, and let its unique shape lead the design. The overlapping circles, linked tightly together, now represent unity, movement, and connection, soon became the foundation for a symbol that reflects everything 180wearuk stands for: resilience, edge, and authenticity.
